Fire breaks out in 4 coaches of Udhampur-Durg Express in MP's Morena, none injured

At least four coaches of Udhampur-Durg Express caught fire in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district on Friday. No casualties have been reported so far.

The Udhampur Durg Express 20848 was going from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir to Chhattisgarh's Durg. The fire incident occurred after the train left Hetampur Railway Station in Morena.

The coaches which were affected by the fire quickly separated from other coaches. Fire tenders were called in from Morena and Dholpur districts.

Dr Shivam Sharma, Chief Public Relation Officer of North Central Railway, said no casualties were reported and passengers were safely evacuated, according to news agency ANI.

The reason behind the fire is yet to be known.
