Amazon Prime Video unveiled the trailer of its upcoming film, Sharmaji Namkeen today, March 17. The family entertainer stars an ensemble cast including late Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, alongside Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha and Isha Talwar. In a first for Hindi cinema, Sharmaji Namkeen features two veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal - play the same character.

The trailer of Sharmaji Namkeen showcases the story of self-realization and discovery of a retired widower who takes up the most random of chores to keep himself busy and away from loneliness. He finally finds happiness after discovering his passion for cooking. Paresh Rawal and Rishi Kapoor's acting will crack you up.

ABOUT SHARMAJI NAMKEEN
The storyline of Sharmaji Namkeen follows BG Sharma, a 58-year-old widower. One fine day, the company he was working for, lays him off and his life comes to a standstill. Sharma struggles to cope with retirement and keeps finding ways to stay relevant, but only ends up getting in his sons’ ways. One day, he finds his passion for cooking in a kitty party.
Directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey of MacGuffin Pictures, Sharmaji Namkeen will premiere on Prime Video across 240 countries and territories worldwide on March 31.
