In the recent development of Russia Ukraine war Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, injuring at least 10 people and damaging residential buildings and industrial facilities, city officials have said, although military officials said all the missiles were downed.

On Thursday morning, there was a significant attack on Ukraine’s capital city, which involved ballistic and cruise missiles. This assault, according to Serhiy Popko, who heads the city’s military administration, marks the first major attack of this scale in recent weeks.

“After a pause of 44 days, the enemy launched another missile attack on Kyiv,” he said. “All emergency services are working on sites.”

Kyiv’s Mayor reported that at least 10 people were injured throughout the city. The air force commander of Ukraine stated that all 31 Russian missiles aimed at the capital were intercepted by Ukraine’s air defenses.

He explained that the Russian military deployed strategic bombers and launched some missiles from their territory. They employed complex maneuvers in neighboring regions, launching missiles at the city from various directions.

Air alerts lasted for almost three hours.

He mentioned that missile fragments struck several residential buildings, industrial areas, and even a kindergarten.

Residents of a multi-storey building in the central district were evacuated after one of the apartments caught fire. The attack also shattered windows in several houses nearby, and set private cars on fire as well.
