Caught-On-Cam: Businessman’s Son Thrown Off Hotel Terrace During Wedding Celebration In UP’s Bareilly

A man shoved off a hotel terrace following a scuffle during a wedding celebration in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh News: In a shocking incident, a 27-year-old man was pushed off the terrace of a posh hotel during a wedding celebration in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, the incident took place on Sunday when the accused, a businessman, and his son, thrashed the son of another businessman following an altercation during a pre-wedding event at a posh hotel.

The incident was captured on CCTV camera installed at the premises and the clip has gone viral on social media platforms.

In the CCTV footage, a man in an orange shirt can be seen assaulting the victim, identified as Sarthak Agarwal, and shoving him off the hotel terrace. Notably, moments before the assault, the victim is seen touching the feet of his assailant, who suddenly begins to attack him and throws him off the terrace.

The victim is the son of a local businessman, Sanjay Agarwal, who deals with chemicals in the health sector.

Police said they have registered a case against the accused, later identified as Ridhim Arora, at the Izzatnagar police station under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), but no arrests have been made in the incident so far.

A senior official said the victim sustained grievous injuries in the fall from the hotel terrace and is undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital.

“Further investigation in the case is underway,” police said.
