New Delhi: Co-Founder of Infosys and one of the richest businessmen of India, Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy has recently been in the news but not for himself but for what he gifted to his grandson, Ekagrah Rohan Murty, son of Narayana Murthy’s son Rohan Murty. The Infoysis founder shocked the world by announcing that he has gifted his little grandson 15 lakh shares of Infosys, making the baby a millionaire even before he became a year old. Now, according to an HT report, Narayana Murthy’s company has announced its numbers for the fourth quarter and declared Rs 28 as total dividend (final dividend of Rs 20 and special dividend of Rs 8). Narayana Murthy’s Grandson Earns THIS Much As Infosys Dividend Income

As mentioned earlier, Narayana Murthy’s grandson, who was recently gifted 15 Lakh shares of Infosys by his grandfather, has now earned a dividend income from the company after its Q4 numbers were announced. With the announcement of Quarter 4 Numbers, Narayana Murthy’s grandson Ekagrah Rohan Murty has earned another Rs 4.2 crore as dividend income, as mentioned in a Hindustan Times report. According to the HT report, the final dividend and special dividend payment is fixed on May 21and the payment will be done on Juy 1, 2024.

Ekagrah Rohan Murty Gets Infosys Shares

Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy had gifted his four-month-old grandson Ekagrah Rohan Murthy Infosys shares worth Rs 240 crore in all probability making Ekagrah Rohan Murthy India’s youngest millionaire. To explain it further, Ekagrah now holds 15,00,000 shares which is equivalent to a 0.04 percent stake in Infosys, which is billed as India’s second-largest information technology services company (as per a filing with the BSE). With this transfer of shares, NR Narayana Murthy’s own stake in Infosys has gone down from 0.40 percent to 0.36 percent, out of over 1.51 crore shares.

Ekagrah Rohan Murty Net Worth

Ekagrah Rohan Murthy is the son of Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty, Rohan Murthy who, along with his wife, Aparna Krishnan, announced the arrival of their baby boy in November 2023. Ekagrah’s birth was announced on November 10 by Rohan Murthy and daughter-in-law Aparna Krishnan and Narayan Murthy, inspired by the Sanskrit word unbroken meditation, named his grandson Ekagrah. Speaking of Ekagrah Murty’s net worth, the little boy owns Rs 240 crore worth of shares which loosely translates to 0.04 percent stake in the company.
