West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar admitted to AIIMS Delhi after testing positive for malaria

Jagdeep Dhankhar, Governor of West Bengal, was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Monday evening after he tested positive for malaria on Sunday.

According to a report in The Times of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar was in Darjeeling from October 12 onwards as part of a two-week visit to north Bengal. He fell ill while there and developed a fever. He was advised to take a blood test.

On Friday, Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in Delhi for treatment, as per sources. He was staying at Bangla Bhavan, where doctors were keeping watch. He has now been shifted to the hospital.
