Airbag saved life of Reena Rai, actor who was in car with Deep Sidhu | Details

Punjabi actor and activist Deep Sidhu lost his life in a road accident near Delhi on Tuesday (February 15) night. His friend, Reena Rai, who was also in the same car with him survived. According to the police, after the accident, the airbag on Reena's side opened immediately, which saved her life.

Reena Rai is a Punjabi actress and has participated in many beauty pageants. In 2014, Reena won the title of Miss South Asia. She worked opposite Deep Sidhu's Punjabi film Rang Punjab in 2018, which got her instant recognition. Deep and Reena's pair was considered to be a hit jodi. They will soon be seen in an upcoming Punjabi film titled Desi.

The couple’s photo from their Valentine’s Day celebrations has now gone viral.

Deep Sidhu and Reena Rai had been together for a couple of years. In a social media post dedicated to her, Deep wrote, “You stood by when the whole world was against, protected me, held my respect, gave me strength, prayed for my cause and freedom but what truly has touched my heart and soul when you paused your life for me, you being there means a lot for me, your love and support is beyond any description, you are beyond my words and i truly feel blessed to have soul like you in my life, I just wanna say I love you @thisisreenarai (sic).”
