Why it may work: This film is bursting at the seams with Bollywood celebrities, and if all of them combined still can’t make this film work — then god save our industry (it’s probably going to tank).

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

What’s it about: An Oscar-nominated dark comic drama by Martin McDonagh, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri follows the story of Mildred Hayes, her fight to get justice for her daughter’s murder and her battle with Ebbing’s law enforcement authorities.

Who is in it: Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Peter Dinklage, Caleb Landry Jones

Why it may work: An offering by Academy Award winning director Martin McDonagh is bound to be enthralling. In the past, McDonagh has engaged his audiences with films like In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths and this time will probably be no different. All the prestigious nominations that this movie has raked up till now is also probably a good indicator of the film’s brilliance.

Peter Rabbit

What’s it about: Based on the book series by Beatrix Potter, Peter Rabbit is the tale of a mischievous and adventurous hero. The film is touted to be an irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr. McGregor reaches new heights as they rival for the affections of the kind-hearted animal lover that lives next door to them.

Who is in it: Domhnall Gleeson, Rose Byrne, James Corden, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki, Margot Robbie

Why it may work: After a carving a space in our hears as Bill Weasley from the Harry Potter franchise, Domhnall Gleeson’s acting prowess has been showcased time and again. Hopefully the actor will knock it out of the park with Peter Rabbit too. Also, James Corden is never a bad addition to anything, ever.
