The future of ace comedian Kapil Sharma appears to be more troublesome, especially after he lost it on Twitter on Friday and went on an abusive rant against one of the entertainment portals. The comedian didn't stop there. He went on to ring up a journalist from the portal and hurled further abuses at him. The journalist and head of the portal, Vickey Lalwani is said to file a complaint against Kapil Sharma.

Now, in the recent development, a source close to Sony TV, the channel on which Kapil's comeback show Family Time with Kapil Sharma (FTWKS) is being aired, informs us that head honchos of the channel just had a meeting regarding the future of FTWKS on their channel, given the current controversial state of affairs. The heads of the channel discussed at length the effect that Kapil Sharma's recent actions will have on the show and its ratings. Given the ruckus created by the comedian-turned-actor, he's likely to be sued.

A report on Republic earlier today suggested that Lalwani is suing Kapil Sharma. will file the complaint against the TV show host for abusing and threatening, according to the report. "We have enough proof to support our argument. He lashed out at my family," said the journalist.

Talking to ANI, Lalwani had revealed the details of the telephonic conversation between him and Kapil on Friday night. He told the agency, "At around 6 pm my phone rang and I got a call from Kapil. With a minute of the call, he started abusing me and said me that my daughter wants to sleep with him. This gave me a shock. This was the worst slang I have ever heard."

It all began with what appeared to be Kapil's attempt to lend support to Salman Khan after he was convicted in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, on Twitter. This later turned into an angry and abusive rant against the entertainment portal headed by Lalwani.

The comedian later deleted all his tweets and then apologised saying that his account was hacked. The said tweet was also deleted. Late at night on Friday, Lalwani gave a detailed account of what transpired in the telephonic conversation when Kapil called him up last evening.

In a recent tweet, the 37-year-old actor said that whatever he wrote, he wrote from his heart. His team deleted the tweet but he was not scared of the reporter, who wrote anything for money.

"Maine jo b likha tha apne dil se likha tha.. it was my team who deleted my tweets .. But main is k***e bikaayu reporter se darne wala nahi hu.. he can write anything for anybody just for few bucks. Shameless," he tweeted.

Meanwhile Kapil Sharma too has filed a complaint against Vickey Lalwani and his former managers Neeti Simoes and Preeti Simoes, accusing them of trying to extort Rs 25 lakh from him. In his complaint, he alleged that Lalwani started a false and malicious propaganda to defame him on digital media after he refused to pay him the amount.

The comedian made his much awaited comeback on Indian Television with Family Time With Kapil Sharma. As it is, the response to the show did not live up to the expectations of the audience and rumours about FTWKS to be pulled off prematurely were rife, on top of that, the recent controversy that Kapil has invited on himself - looks like the channel has a lot to contemplate over before coming down to decision.
