Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Congress party and termed it as 'bail gaadi' as several of its leaders are out on bail.

Modi made the remarks while addressing the beneficiaries of various welfare schemes run by the Centre and state government in BJP-ruled Rajasthan, where assembly elections are scheduled later this year.

"Some people have started calling Congress a 'bail gadi. Several prominent Congress leaders and former ministers are on bail (Congress ko aaj kal kuch log 'bail-gaadi' bolne lage hain. Congress ke kai diggaj neta aur purv mantri aajkal bail par hain)," Modi said.

Addressing a rally, Modi also asked people not to forget tough circumstances in which Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje took oath in 2013. "When she took an oath, systems were not working properly. She has changed the work culture in the state," Modi said.

"There are some people who will never appreciate good work done, be it by the Centre or by Vasundhara Raje Ji, but everyone must see the happiness of the beneficiaries here," he said.

Taking a swipe at the Congress government, he said that the BJP governments do not stall projects. "In our governments, projects neither get stalled, nor lose their way (Humari sarkar mein yojnane na atakti hain na latakti Hain na bhatakti hain)."

The refinery project was taken up in the final year of the Gehlot government but work on it could not start for years.

"The work on oil refinery in Barmer, Rajasthan is underway. What the previous government had done (stalled) with the project is not hidden from anyone. Every child knows that, " Modi said targeting the previous Ashok Gehlot's government.

Stating that the government's aim is inclusive and all-round development, Modi added, "No tolerance towards corruption, our all our efforts are aimed at building a New India."

Modi also launched thirteen new Urban infrastructure projects with a total outlay of Rs 2,100 crore from the Amrudon Ka Bagh in Jaipur.

Some of the major projects launched by PM Modi include: Integrated infrastructure project for the Walled City in Udaipur, elevated road project for easing traffic in Ajmer and water and sewage projects in half a dozen districts including Ajmer, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Hanumangarh, Sikar and Mount Abu.
