Hide all that money! Ajay Devgn is all set to 'Raid' your house - check out first poster

The first poster of Ajay's upcoming film is here!

And here it is! The first poster of Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'cruz's upcoming film, Raid has been dropped upon us. It features Ajay, who is sitting on a suitcase, which is locked and has a government seal on it surrounded by a lot of papers, cash money, jewelry, gold biscuits and sacks full of probably money again. "Heroes don't always come in uniform," reads the tagline of the film. This poster makes the outline of the plot of Raid very clear to the viewer. If you are still not able to figure out, Raid is said to be based on real-life events involving one of the most high-profile income tax raids the country has ever known. The film is set in Uttar Pradesh during 1980s, which is why you see that Nawabi architecture of Lucknow in the background. Ajay's character name is Amay Patnaik, who is the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow. Raid, which is directed by Rajkumar Gupta (who last directed Ghanchakkar) marks the second collaboration between Ajay and Ileana after Baadshaho. Ileana talked about working with Ajay in Raid at the Star Screen Awards in December last year as she said, "Working with Ajay has been really really smooth. He is one of those people who is just so easy to work with. You forget the fact that he is this big superstar, because he is super easy to work with. And, it is a great role for me, it is very different. It is out of the 1980s, so it is very interesting, I think, I have done so many films from 1970s and 1950s, and now 1980s. But I think it is a great film, and it was great experience working with Rajkumar Gupta as well. And it is a great story, I think it is something that people want to see now, they want great stories, great content. Presented by Gulshan Kumar, Raid is a joint production by T-Series and Panorama Studios. Raid is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 16 this year.
