In widely circulated images across social platforms, the players appeared in vibrant ensembles, all set for the festive Diwali gathering at a Bengaluru venue. Virat Kohli was accompanied by his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma to be part of the festivities.

NEW DELHI: The Indian team is currently in Bengaluru for its last league match of the ODI World Cup against the Netherlands, and the players didn't miss a chance to dress up in traditional Indian clothes in a Diwali get-together.
In several images going viral on social media, players could be seen arriving specially dressed up for Diwali celebrations at a venue in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli arrived with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Rohit Sharma was also accompanied by his wife Ritika Sajdeh.
While the BCCI shared a video from the event, players and fans posted pictures on social media, which have been widely shared.










India, who are so far unbeaten in eight matches, have already qualified for the semifinals, where they will face New Zealand on November 15.
The second semi-final will be contested between Australia and South Africa on November 16.
