Exit polls predict hung assembly in Madhya Pradesh

NEW DELHI: A hung assembly is predicted in Madhya Pradesh with Congress leading the race with 113 seats, according to poll of exit polls. The BJP is likely to be a close second with 107 seats. The other parties with 10 crucial seats are likely to play the role of kingmakers. (The majority mark in Madhya Pradesh is 116.)

Times Now-CNX
BJP with 126 seats is expected to come back to power in the 230-seat assembly in Madhya Pradesh, according to exit poll results by Times Now-CNX.
The Congress and its allies are likely to fall short of the majority mark by 27 seats. The exit poll predicted that the party will win 89 seats.
The BSP and other parties are expected to share the remaining 15 seats among themselves.
CSDS
According to CSDS, Congress will form the government in the state by winning 126 seats. The BJP will be distant second with 94 seats. The other parties will share the remaining 10 seats.
In 2013 assembly polls, BJP had won a massive 165 seats, while the Congress had won 58 seats.
Today's Chanakya
The Congress will cross the majority mark by winning 125 seats, the poll predicted. The BJP on the other hand will score victory on 103 seats. The remaining two seats are likely to be won by other political parties.
Jan Ki Baat
According to Jan Ki Baat exit poll, the battle between the two leading parties is expected to be a lot closer. The ruling party is expected to win 118 seats, while the Congress is expected to win 105 seats. The remaining 7 seats would be won by the others.

The News 24 PACE poll predicted that the Congress with 115 seats will fall short of the majority mark by one seat. The BJP will be a close second with 103 seats. The others are also expected to play a crucial role in government formation, if no party is able to reach the majority mark. The other parties, exit poll predicted, will win 12 seats.

Axis My India predicted as split verdict in Madhya Pradesh. The exit poll results showed that both the BJP and the Congress are expected to win an equal share of seats. The BJP is likely to win 111 seats, while the Congress is expected to win 113 seats. The other political parties are expected to win 6 seats.
