Inter-State border meeting of the police officers under the leadership of Additional DCP M. Sridhar Reddy was held to discuss various issues and challenges in protecting law and order at the office of the Circle Inspector of Police, at Bodhan on Saturday.

Officers from Nizamabad, Bodhan, Kamareddy and Banswada in the State, Dharmabad, Biloli and Deglur divisions of Nanded district in Maharashtra, and Bidar and Balki divisions in Karnataka, attended the meeting.

The officials discussed on the inter-State criminal gangs and exchange of their details, execution of non-bailable warrants, precautionary measures to be undertaken in connection with the Lok Sabha elections, border issues among three States and steps to be initiated for their solution, prevention of illegal mining and transportation of sand and prevention of gutka and illicit liquor and their transportation and gambling. They wanted to extend cooperation for their control and action against culprits. Gous Alam, trainee IPS, A. Raghu, ACP Bodhan, A. Yadagiri, Nurul Hassan, Sidheswar Dhumal and Ramesh Sarovar, SDPOs of Banswada, Dharmabad, Biloli and Deglur respectively and others were present.
