Delhi-NCR is dealing with the severe problem of air pollution and stubble burning is one of the major contributors. Anand Mahindra posted a video on microblogging platform X where he shared that to curb the pollution in Delhi, he has an alternative solution to stubble burning. He requested Regenerative Agriculture to be put to use so that the pollution in Delhi can be tackled.

“To heal Delhi’s pollution, Regenerative Agriculture MUST be given a chance. It provides a remunerative alternative to stubble burning while simultaneously increasing soil productivity. @VikashAbraham of @naandi_india stands ready to help. Let’s do it!” Anand Mahindra wrote.

In the wake of worsening air pollution in Delhi-NCR, schools have been asked to suspend physical classes till November 10. Additionally, the state government advised offices to implement work-from-home and enforced the odd-even car rationing scheme.

To combat air pollution further, the odd-even car rationing scheme will be enforced from November 13 to 20.

On Sunday, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) decided to enact Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across the National Capital Region (NCR) to prevent further air quality degradation.
