Virat Kohli is set to join the Indian team for West Indies tour which includes 3 T20 Internationals, 3 one-day internationals and 2 Test matches from August 3 to September 3.

Last month, it was reported Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah would be rested for the T20I and ODI series. But Kohli has reported informed the selectors that he will travel to West Indies for the shorter formats matches as well as the Test matches.

India were one of the pre-tournament favourites and stormed to the last-4 as table toppers. However, they lost the semi-final to New Zealand in Manchester.
