Swara Bhasker turns 32: Sonam Kapoor wishing on her veere's birthday is all about friendship goals
Sonam Kapoor, who has worked with Swara Bhasker in films like Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Veere Di Wedding, wished her a happy birthday on Instagram.
Actress Swara Bhasker turned a year older today and probably the first 'veere' to wish the actress a happy birthday on social media is Sonam Kapoor.
The Neerja actress posted beautiful pictures with Swara from her wedding on the platform and penned a heartwarming message for the birthday girl. The series features two photos - one from Sonam's mehndi and sangeet ceremony and the second from her wedding day.
The first picture has Sonam and Swara flaunting the beautiful henna pattern on their hands. In the second photo, we see Sonam, as the bride, sitting on a chair as Swara and Rhea Kapoor, the bridesmaids, pose together.
"Happiest Birthday Swaru! Your courage and spunk is so inspiring. Never stop being you. Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world! Can’t wait to celebrate with you once this is over! Love you behen (sic)," Sonam wrote.
Swara and Sonam have worked together in three films - Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Veere Di Wedding. They share a close bond with each other. In fact, Sonam had delayed her wedding because of Swara.
In a 2018 interview, Swara had revealed that Sonam's wedding scheduled on the same date as her brother's (March 12, 2018). Swara wouldn't have been able to attend Sonam's wedding because of this.
According to the report, Swara convinced Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor to change their daughter's wedding date and thus Sonam's wedding was postponed to May 8, 2018. And Swara got to be one of her bridesmaids.
Apart from Sonam, Shikha Talsania, another Veere Di Wedding actress has wished Swara on the occasion.
Shikha Talsania shared a photo with Swara on her Instagram story, and wrote, "I wish I could give you a hug till you were uncomfortable and complained till cows came from home. Miss ya, facetime par milte hain (sic)."
Veere No 3, Kareena Kapoor Khan is yet to wish Swara.
Swara Bhasker has also acted in films like Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Nil Battey Sannata, Anaarkali of Aarah and Sheer Qorma.
