My FB account was hacked last night and I woke up to a flurry of messages of concern of care of people reaching out and saying wonderful things to me and saying that if I need to talk I should call. Some people even shared their telephone numbers. These are people I’ve met, probably never met or met briefly, or occasionally sometime somewhere. of them and all of them just showed care and concern. A lot of them in fact also said this doesn’t sound like you it’s not a positive voice and it just doesn’t sound like you and we are hoping your account (not good) but rather hacked than you ever saying something like this. Because you’re valuable and precious. It was so heart warming to see these messages from strangers from acquaintances from friends and it was lovely to know that people reach out to you when they sense you need them or just because they care. I don’t think they did it just because I’m an actor they just did it because they care about a fellow human being. I want to say that I’m absolutely fine. And dealing with this entire situation as well as everyone else is dealing with it. dealing. I’m fine and I would never think of something so drastically negative. All of us at home are fine and safe we are not corona positive as was one of the things that was written in my post. (By god knows who.) Thank you all. Thank you so much for reaching out and being there it means a lot to me. #ThankYou #Gratitude #Kindness #Positivity

On Wednesday, Shefali shared another post in which she talked about how these are not the normal times and how everyone should work towards making it as normal as possible. She wrote, "These aren’t normal times. These are very difficult times and we’re all trying to make it as normal as possible in our own way. And anyway that helps maintain your sanity is the right way. There are no wrongs here. Some look away from that which is truly spreading terror. Some acknowledge it only when checking the spike rate each day. Some are on autopilot. Most filling up their days to keep away from accepting the apocalyptic situation we’re facing."

There are no wrongs here. Some look away from that which is truly spreading terror. Some acknowledge it only when checking the spike rate each day. Some are on autopilot. Most filling up their days to keep away from accepting the apocalyptic situation we’re facing. Infact being busy running our day to day life, chores, house work is a great diversion. It brings some semblance of normalcy. But whether we say it aloud or not, subconsciously it’s weighing us down. The not knowing. The fear, confusion anxiety, apprehension, depression, terror and various emotions that can’t be explained in words. And it’s very very exhausting. Not the physical work as much as the emotional and mental stress is very very draining. We may not be able to discern the magnitude of this but we all know that our lives wil never be the same again And that is why we need to step back. And stop! Stop fighting it. Accept the fatigue, Process it (it’s a lot to process) feel what we feel, (there’s no right or wrong there) express it and let go (even if temporarily). And sometime DONT DO ANYTHING AND REST. In her earlier post, Shefali shared a detailed account on how she brought back her two sons, Maurya and Aryaman, from Spain.

14th March 2020 7PM IST Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announces national lock down. State of emergency declared. Spain records the highest number of cases after Italy. Spike of 1500 cases in 24 hours. Needless to say we had to get the kids back before the borders closed. They were being evacuated from where they stayed. Both in crucial years in school ready to give boards in 2 months. Angry at being uprooted and whisked back only because their mom was over reacting. I didn’t care a bat’s ass. We had 16 hours to get them on that flight. March 15th 2020 They took the flight from barcelona to@India , via dubai. All we could do is wait and pray they don’t get held back abroad at any port away from home. March 16th 2020 8AM IST They managed to get back via Dubai (Transit). And just in time because by evening the government and aviation ministry announced people coming from Europe, UAE, China and some more countries were going to be quarantined at the port of entry... Bombay They were checked at the airport and even though they were checked clean (they’re asymptomatic) they were taken to 7 hills (which like all hospitals for COVID 19 is a refugee camp) for a 24 hour quarantine. Where they were tested again for temperature and sore throat asked for symptoms if any, given a clean chit sent home in an hour. Please Understand india has 1.4 billion people and the kits available for testing are less than 1,15000 so asymptomatic people aren’t tested.
