The trailer of Sanjay Dutt-starrer Torbaaz is now out. The film is directed by Girish Malik and stars Nargis Fakhri as Dutt’s love interest. While some Bollywood films are releasing in theatres, Torbaaz is set for an OTT release on December 11. The film will premiere on Netflix.

TORBAAZ TRAILER OUT

The trailer of Torbaaz begins with Sanjay Dutt saying "Mai yahaan aapke refugee camp mein, bachon ke liye cricket training camp kholna chahta hoon." He plays the role of Nasser Khan in the film. The rest of the trailer focuses on how Nasser Khan bounces back from a personal tragedy and tries to change the lives of the children in refugee camps with a game of cricket.

The trailer has a gripping background score with intense dialogues like, “Refugee camp mein rehne vale bachhe terrorist nahi hote, vo terrorism ka pehla shikaar hote hain.”

SANJAY DUTT SHARES TORBAAZ TRAILER

Sharing the trailer of Torbaaz on Twitter, Sanjay Dutt wrote, “It’s when good people do nothing that the bad guys win! #Torbaaz, premiering 11 December, only on @NetflixIndia.”

TORBAAZ TO RELEASE ON DECEMBER 11

Back in July, Sanjay Dutt had announced that Torbaaz will be releasing on Netflix soon. In a tweet, he wrote, “A man rises from personal tragedy to lead a group of children from a refugee camp to victory, transforming their lives through the game of cricket. It's almost time to play!”

Torbaaz pairs Nargis Fakhri and Sanjay Dutt for the first time. The film’s shooting began three years ago, in 2017.

SANJAY DUTT'S BATTLE WITH CANCER

Torbaaz marks Sanjay Dutt's first release after his battle with cancer. The actor was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in August. In October, he shared that he has won the battle against the disease and also expressed gratitude to his family, friends, fans and the staff of Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai who treated him.
