Would you believe it if we told you that Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior marks Ajay Devgn's 100th film? Well, it does. And needless to say, it calls for a celebration. But there's another actor who is equally happy about Ajay's milestone, and that is Shah Rukh Khan. Taking it to Twitter, Shah Rukh congratulated Ajay for the 100th film of his career and motivated him to keep doing more films.

Sharing a new poster of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which features Ajay, Shah Rukh wrote, "Here’s looking forward to another 100 and more films from my friend @ajaydevgn . All the best for this milestone...from striding atop two motorcycles at the same time...you’ve come a long long way....keep riding...and all the best for Tanhaji. (sic)"

To which, Ajay replied, "Thank You @iamsrk for making my 100th film #Tanhaji so special. Appreciate your gesture."

Interestingly, the poster itself is a collage, composed of stills from all the 100 films Ajay has worked in.

In his post, Shah Rukh was referring to a famous motorcycle scene from Ajay's debut film, Phool Aur Kaante, co-starring Madhoo, released in 1991. The film won him the Best Male Debut award, too. That scene became iconic because it marked Ajay's entry into Hindi cinema.

Years later, Ajay performed the same stunt in Rohit Shetty's directorial venture Golmaal (2006), reminding everyone of the scene once again, followed by Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Son of Sardaar and Golmaal Again.

Same kind of stunt was also shown in his 2019 film De De Pyaar De's poster.

If friend Shah Rukh Khan remembered to congratulate Ajay on his achievement, could Kajol be far behind? She, too, took to Instagram and called him "30 years and 100 films old" in her post.

"30 yrs & 100 films old. An occasion that definitely calls for a moment. From Phool Aur Kante to Zakhm to Golmaal to Shivaay and now finally Tanhaji! Through all the hard won Fridays I’ve seen you go through. All characters lead back to you. Proudly wishing you a very happy 100th film birthday @ajaydevgn. Go to my story for more, (sic)" Kajol's caption read, referring to click on her Instagram story.

In the story, Kajol shared a video link "celebrating the 100th film of Ajay Devgn Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior". The video comprises of various scenes from his other films, including The Legend Of Bhagat Singh, Singham, Gangaajal, Qayamat, Yuva, Ishq, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Drishyam, Golmaal and many more. It concludes with the title of his upcoming film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

The 2 minute-2 second video shows how Ajay chose the film - a story of revolution, love, pain, laughter, celebration, realization, dreams, beliefs and more.

Now, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will be his 100th film. He will be essaying the titular role of Tanaji Malusare, the military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Saif Ali Khan, who has shared screen space with Ajay in several films earlier, will be seen as the antagonist in Om Raut's directorial venture.
