Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra out of Forbes Highest Paid Actresses list. Scarlett Johansson tops again

Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are no less than global icons, but the Bollywood divas have failed to make it to the Forbes’ list of highest paid female actors in the world. This year again the list was topped by Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson. She secured the first position in 2018 also.

If Deepika had no release after the 2018 film Padmaavat, Priyanka Chopra, too, made special appearances in Hollywood films like A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic?

Scarlett has charged a big amount from Disney’s Marvel Studios for her upcoming film Black Widow. Her earnings amounted to USD 56 million (around Rs 400 crore). The Modern Family star Sofia Vergara earned herself the second position. She made USD 44.1 million (around Rs 315 crore).

Reese Witherspoon also made a comeback to this year's Forbes’ list. She was named third in the list with the earning of USD 35 million (around Rs 250 crore). Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston secured the fourth and the fifth position with earnings USD 34 million (around Rs 243 crore) and USD 28 million (around Rs 200 crore), respectively.

Though none of the Bollywood actress made it to the Forbes list, Akshay Kumar scored fourth position in Forbes World's Highest Paid Actors 2019 list. Bollywood's Khiladi Kumar earned USD 65 million (around Rs 466 crore) between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019.

The Forbes’ list of highest paid actors was topped by Dwayne Johnson with the earning of USD 89.4 million. With Scarlett's earning to be of USD 56 million, the gap between the top paid actress and the top paid actor still remains huge.

Bollywood divas Deepika and Priyanka might not have made it to the list but the actresses are currently neck-deep in work. Deepika is currently busy with shooting of her upcoming film 83. Deepika is playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev's wife Romi Dev. In Kabir Khan's film, Ranveer Singh will play the role of Kapil Dev in the film.

Priyanka, on the other hand, will next be seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink.
