WHAT WILL BE AKSHAY'S ROLE IN BACHCHAN PANDEY?
Bachchan Pandey will be directed by Farhad Samji. Akshay will play the role of a gangster, who aspires to be an actor. Kriti Sanon will be seen in the role of a journalist, who wants to become a director. Arshad plays Akshay's friend in the film.

WHAT'S ON THE WORK FRONT?
Previously, Akshay wrapped up shooting for Bell Bottom in Scotland. Bell Bottom was the first major Bollywood film to start shooting overseas after the lockdown restrictions were lifted. Right after wrapping up Bell Bottom, Akshay started shooting for Yash Raj Films’ period drama Prithviraj. The film marks the Bollywood debut of former Miss World Manushi Chillar. Apart from these, Akshay will also be seen in Sooryavanshi and Atrangi Re. His recent release Laxmii failed to impress the critics.
