A Rising Sun Films production, Gulabo Sitabo is directed by Shoojit Sircar, written by Juhi Chaturvedi and produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

Set in Lucknow, the film revolves around Mirza (Amitabh Bachchan), a cranky old landlord and his notorious tenant Bankey (Ayushmann Khurrana), who leave no stone unturned to take a dig at each other. The two are constantly at loggerheads. While Mirza wants to evict Bankey, the latter has been living in the haveli for years without even increasing the rent. The camaraderie between the two will leave the audience in splits.
