Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi was treating the chief ministers of other states, it seems as if he is the prime minister of Pakistan and not India.

"When someone becomes the prime minister, he doesn't just become the prime minister of his party, but the entire country," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal was speaking at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's protest being held at the Andhra Bhawan in New Delhi today.

In his speech, Arvind Kejriwal also said, "The way PM Modi is treating the chief ministers of other parties/states, it seems that he is not the PM of India but the PM of Pakistan."

He also referred to the alleged control that the prime minister has over the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and said, "PM seized our anti-corruption branch. It was as if the Pakistan army had captured Delhi."

Kejriwal congratulated Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her dharna against the CBI trying to interrogate Kolkata Police chief and said, "I congratulate Mamata di for bravely fighting with PM Modi's CBI officials."

N Chandrababu Naidu began a day-long fast in New Delhi on Monday to demand special status for Andhra Pradesh.

Opposition leaders including Congress president Rahul Gandhi, NC president and Farooq Abdullah also attended the protest.
