The Madhya Pradesh chief minister had earlier warned that action will be taken against people who share it.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan said legal action would be taken against people who were found sharing the video clip.

Digvijaya Singh shared the video on Twitter despite the strict warning but deleted it as soon as the controversy escalated.

BJP leaders slammed the fake video and said it has been released to “confuse the public”. They blame Digvijaya Singh for curating the edited video.

Digvijaya Singh has not yet issued a statement on the matter.
