During this meeting, the DPCC passed three resolutions unanimously.

The first resolution was aimed at requesting Rahul Gandhi to take over as the president of the Indian National Congress (INC). "Rahul ji has been waging a determined battle to expose the misdeeds of the Modi Government, and his leading from the front as the Congress President was an urgent need to boost the confidence and morale of the Congress workers," DPCC president Anil Kumar said.

He went on to add, "Considering the disturbed and dangerous political situation in the country, Congress needs a dynamic and powerful leader like Shri Rahul Gandhi at the helm, to lead the party forcefully, to counter the communal, authoritarian and undemocratic forces, trying to take the country on the path of destruction."

At the same time, the second and third resolutions demanded the resignations of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for mishandling the ongoing farmers' agitation.

Senior Congress leader and the AICC in-charge of Delhi Shakti Sinh Gohil said, "Congress should start consolidating the position at the booth level from now onwards by exposing the failures and corruption of the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party governments, and highlight the good work of the Congress, so that the party will be in a strong position to face the MCD elections."
