Christopher Nolan's Tenet now streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Christopher Nolan's sci-fi espionage thriller Tenet, starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson in pivotal roles, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film earlier released in theatres in the UK, the US and India in August , September and December 2020, respectively. Tenet hit the streaming platform in English as well as Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on Wednesday (March 31), Amazon said in a press release. The film also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and Dimple Kapadia.

TENET ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday announced that Tenet will start streaming on the platform on March 31. The film will be available for Indian audiences in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Tenet was originally scheduled for a July 2020 release. However, its release was deferred due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It opened in 70 countries last August in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Tenet minted over USD 363 million worldwide and was released in India in December 2020.

ABOUT TENET

Tenet revolves around an international spy, played by John David Washington, who is fighting for the survival of the entire world. Filmed across seven countries, the thriller sees a time travelling protagonist risking his own life to stop the inevitable catastrophe that could be bigger than World War III and a nuclear holocaust. A major portion of the film was also shot in Mumbai, India, in September 2019. John David Washington and Robert Pattinson shot their scenes along with Dimple Kapadia in the city. The film has been shot in different parts of the world including Estonia, Denmark, Italy, Norway, US and UK.
