Actor Ajay Devgn says he was shocked to know about a few names that came under the radar during the #MeToo movement. The actor is currently promoting his upcoming film Total Dhamaal and during an interview, he was quoted by an agency talking about the movement. He said that he doesn’t believe in being judgemental until someone is proven guilty by the court of law.

Ajay was quoted by PTI saying, “A couple of things came out and some people are like this but everybody is not like that. I would say some names did shock me but then I can’t be judgemental completely till somebody proves someone guilty or not.”

The actor is also of the opinion that it’s difficult to suppress anyone today because everyone has access to the media and people are more vigilant about their rights. He added, “New generation is thinking differently, they are not going to accept the bullshit what people used to accept a couple of years back. They are changing and we are changing and that change is for the better. With the media coming in, everything is out in the open.”

The actor also said that everyone in the industry today is at the same platform, therefore, the power-influence is quite difficult. He said, “You can’t say ‘I am very powerful and you can’t mess with me’, you cannot mess with anybody as everybody is at the same platform, at the same stage. So big or small doesn’t matter anymore, which is a good thing.”

On the work front, the 49-year-old actor will be next seen in Total Dhamaal that releases on February 22. He has got three more anticipated films in his kitty: De De Pyaar De with Tabu, Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which is his ambitious home production, and Chanakya with Neeraj Pandey. Ajay is also gearing up for a Luv Ranjan film, which also features Ranbir Kapoor with him. A biopic on the legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim is also in works.
