'Tiger Zinda Hai': Amar Singh Dismisses Rumours of His Death, Shares Video

New Delhi: Former Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Amar Singh, has dismissed ‘rumours of his death’ saying that many of his ‘well-wishers’ want the rumour to come out true but he is alive and in good spirit. Sharing a video on his official Twitter handle, the former SP leader informed that the doctors treating him have said that his brain is as active as that of a 10-year-old child.

I am Amar Singh, speaking from Singapore. Himmat baki hain, josh baaki hain. Hosh bhi baaki hain. Hamare dost ye keh rahein hain ki Yamraj ne hamein apne paas bula liya hain. Aisa Kuchh nahi hain.. (My friends, wellwishers, have been saying that I am dead. But this is not true),” Singh can be heard saying in the video.

Furthermore he stated,”Once my surgery is done, I will return as soon as possible and be with you all. I will continue to live the way I have lived so far… Once I had fallen from a plane, fought death for 13 days in the middle east. The doctor says my brain is like that of a 10-year-old.”

Earlier this month, Singh had hit the headlines after he released a video where he was seen expressing ‘regret’ for his behaviour towards Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his family. The former SP leader had recorded the video and posted on his official Facebook account after receiving a message from Bachchan on his (Singh) father’s death anniversary.

“If not anything, he was elder to me. I should have been sober to him. I realise, I must express regret for the harsh words I used (against them). In my mind, more than hatred, I had disappointment towards his behaviour. But it seems, he never had any disappointment, nor bitterness in him (against me). He has some feelings. That’s why he has conveyed his tributes on my father’s death anniversary. Acknowledging that I would urge the God to give justice to all according to their karma. We should leave it to the almighty,” a feeble looking Amar Singh had said in that video.

Amar Singh, the Bachchan family and Anil Ambani were seen together, almost like an extended family. But way back in 2016, the relationship, at least between the Bachchans and Singhs suffered a major blow when Singh went public with his complaints against Jaya Bachchan.
