‘Please Keep Her Safe’: Robert Vadra Pens Note For Wife Priyanka And Message For Others

Robert Vadra on Monday penned a moving note for wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, wishing her luck as the party general secretary UP (east), while appealing to citizens to 'keep her safe'.

New Delhi: On the day Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made her maiden official visit to Uttar Pradesh as the Congress general secretary for UP (east), her husband Robert Vadra posted a well-wishing post for her on Facebook.

Calling her his ‘best friend’, the ‘perfect wife’ and the ‘best mother’, Robert Vadra penned a loving, emotional note for his wife, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

The note reads:

Vadra’s emotive Facebook post came as Priyanka Gandhi and Jyotiraditya Scindia, who took charge as AICC general secretary UP east and UP west, respectively, last week, participated in a roadshow in Lucknow on Monday along with Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

Priyanka Gandhi married Vadra in 1997. The couple has two children.

Vadra is currently being probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and was questioned for three consecutive days last week in connection with a money laundering case.

Vadra is also expected to make a fresh appearance before the ED on Tuesday in Jaipur in connection with a probe into an alleged land scam in the Rajasthan’s border town of Bikaner.
