Bangalore: The joint efforts of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have led to the successful rescue of a 1.5-year-old child who fell into an open borewell in the village of Lachyan, located in the Indi taluk of Vijayapura district, Karnataka, following a tense and exhausting 20-hour rescue operation.

The toddler unintentionally fell into the exposed borewell, causing a stir in the neighborhood and prompting an immediate response from the local authorities. This heartbreaking incident took place.
