On Thursday, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and his wife author Twinkle Khanna celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. While the rest of Bollywood is busing sharing their #10YearChallenge picture s, Khanna revamped the viral trend to make it about her and Kumar’s wedding anniversary celebration. In hilarious witty tweets, Twinkle has revealed the answer to the question ‘What did your husband give you for anniversary’ calling it the ‘18 year challenge’.
It started with a photo of her climbing aboard an aircraft, her childhood crush and Hollywood actor Rob Lowe, and closer home to Ranveer Singh.

However, the most beautiful tweet was saved for the end. In the heartwarming post, she mentioned that Akshay gave her “18 years of solid friendship” and “enough space” to grow.

The couple married on 17 January, 2001 and they are parents to son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
On the work front, Akshay will be seen next on the big screen in Anurag Singh’s period drama Kesari , in which he will be seen playing as Havildar Ishar Singh. The film, which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi that took place in 1897, features Parineeti Chopra as the leading lady. It is slated to release on 21 March.
