The official handle of Jain on Twitter posted a message, where the producer said that though this was not the best time to fall ill, he hoped for a speedy recovery and wished the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi team all the best for their upcoming release.
Dear friends, this certainly is not the best time to be in hospital. Hope to get well soon and enjoy the success of our collective dream & hardwork. My best wishes to all pic.twitter.com/VnYLYxXlJc

The film sees Kangana essay the titular role of Rani Lakshmi Bai, who is best known for her sheer resilience against the British Raj during the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857. It has been helmed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut, and produced by Zee Studios, in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti.
The film has faced issues in the past, especially with Krish quitting the project, after which Kangana had to take up the directorial reigns . The casting of the film also underwent considerable changes following Sonu Sood walking out of the film.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is scheduled to hit the screens on 25 January, 2019.
