Kartik Aaryan shares his Salman Khan-inspired throwback picture that got him Pyaar ka Punchnama audition

We have the best throwback Thursday picture for you. Pyaar Ka Punchnama star Kartik Aaryan is extremely popular among girls, so much that even Sara Ali Khan wants to date him . On Wednesday, Aaryan shared his debut audition photo on Instagram and his fans cannot stop gushing over it.

The actor revealed the story behind the picture, saying that it scored him an audition for his debut film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, that released in 2011. The photo has an uncanny resemblance to Salman Khan’s look from Maine Pyaar Kiya. Aaryan also mentioned about it in his caption.

The moment Aaryan posted the picture comments started pouring in from all quarters. Actors Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Sanon, and Ayushmann Khurrana too commented on the picture.

His debut Pyaar Ka Punchnama turned out to be a sleeper hit. However, he became popular among millennials for his 12-minute monologue which went viral. His recent release,  Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was a surprise massive blockbuster.

Next up, Kartik Aaryan has Luka Chuppi in the pipeline, in which Kriti Sanon is cast as his opposite lead. Luka Chuppi is expected to release on 1 March.
