DU cut off list 2019: The University of Delhi is all set to release the first cut off list for admissions to various programmes today at du.ac.in. Students waiting to get admission in various colleges under the Delhi University can check the cut-offs today on the official website of the varsity. According to a report by the Indian Express, Rajeev Gupta, the head of Admissions Committee at the Delhi University said that DU is trying their best to release the cut off list as soon as possible. Students can visit the official website of the university today at 6 PM to check the first cut off list. Students do not need to get alarmed, they can simply visit the official website of the varsity after 6 PM and check the list.
The Delhi University was previously supposed to release the first cut off list for admission on June 28, however, the same is being preponed. This way, students will get some extra time in order to make their choices for admission. According to reports, the varsity has taken several steps to curb the practice of multiple admission. In order to stop aspirants from taking admission in more than one step, DU from this year will not let students pursue admission in a second college, till they cancel their admission from the previous one.
St Stephens College Cut off
– The students need to have a score of 98 percent and above in order to be eligible for admission in St Stephen’s Bachelors of Arts programme. While this cut-off is for commerce stream students in general category is 98. The cut-off for humanities and science stream students is 96.5 and 98 per cent respectively.
– Cut-off for BA (Hons) Economics aspirants – 98.75 percent for commerce stream students, 98.5% for Humanities stream and 97.75% for Science stream students.
– The cut-off for BA (Hons) English aspirants – Best of four will be considered for this programme. 98.75 percent for Commerce, 98.25% for Humanities and 98.75 science stream students.
– BSc (Hons) Mathematics cut off – Best of four will be considered for this programme (Mathematics is compulsory). 97.5% for Commerce, 96.75% Humanities, and 97.75% Science.
– BA (Hons) History cut-off – 98.5% for commerce, 97.25% for humanities and 98.5% for Science.
– BA (Hons) Philosophy cut off – 96.5% for science, 97 per cent for commerce and humanities students.
– BA (Hons) Sanskrit cut off- 65 per cent for Commerce, Science and Humanities students.
– BSc (Hons) Chemistry cut off- 96.33 per cent for general category candidates.
– BSc (Hons) Physics cut off – 96.66 per cent for general category candidates.
– BSc in Chemistry cut off – 95 per cent
– BSc in Computer Science – 96.6 per cent
Ram Lal Anand College Cut off
– The RLA College has released its cut-off. The highest cut-off of this college is for B.Com (Hons) at 96% which is then followed by BSc (hons) Statistics. According to reports, the college will not deduct marks of the candidates if they want to take a course out of their subject/stream adopted in class 12. In addition to this, there will be a concession of 1 per cent that will be available for the female candidates who take admissions in the college.
– The BA (Hons) in English cut-off at this college stands at 95 per cent for general followed by 91, 89,88, 93, 85 and 93 for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD and KM candidates.
