IDFC First bags rights as BCCI Title Sponsor for international, domestic home matches

Private sector bank IDFC First has won the tender for the ‘Title Sponsor Rights For BCCI Events (ITT)’, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Saturday. The board announced IDFC First Bank Limited was successful in the bidding process. 

The successful bid makes IDFC First the Title Sponsor for all international matches for both women and men, and domestic cricket matches like Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy, and Ranji Trophy organized by the BCCI as also all junior cricket (Under 19 and Under 23) matches, organized in India, the release said during the association.

The BCCI-IDFC First deal will start with the 3-match ODI series against Australia, scheduled to begin next month from September 22, the BCCI said. The association will continue for the next 3 years.
