Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 has not exactly had a smooth ride. The director of the film Vikas Bahl was accused under #MeToo after it was filmed. The makers had to thus wait for the court orders and proceed with the movie accordingly.

Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 was then going to clash with Kangana Ranaut starrer Mental Hai Kya. Makers of both the films then announced that the clash has been averted. While Hrithik Roshan said it was to save himself from 'personal trauma', Mental Hai Kya makers, including Kangana, asserted that the decision was consensual.

The movie, which was slated to release on July 12 this year, might get pushed yet again, this time because of a pending court case. A report on Mid-Day states that IIT students Avinash Baro, Bikash Das, Monjit Doley and Dhaniram Taw, questioned how Anand Kumar, who has a case on him, can be glorified in a movie.

Amit Goyal, legal counsel of the students told the daily, "[The film] seems inauthentic. We never sought to damage the film, but [Kumar] has a court case against him. His reply [to the PIL] doesn't [address] the allegations completely."

Goyal added, "He (Anand Kumar) is yet to reveal the names to the court. In such a scenario, this movie can send out an incorrect message." The students had asked Kumar to reveal names of the 26 out of 30 students who Anand claims got admission in IIT in the year 2018.

The students have accused Anand Kumar of misleading students and hopeful parents. They exposed that during the application, he would direct them to first take admission in his institute, Ramanujan School of Mathematics, which would cost the students Rs. 33,000.

Producers Reliance Entertainment, Hrithik Roshan or Sajid Nadiadwala did not respond to the daily. The report also goes on to suggest that since the PIL is not being taken seriously, the IIT students would file a fresh PIL to stall the movie till the truth is out in the open.
