Thalaivi filmmaker AL Vijay and wife Aishwarya blessed with a baby boy

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the whole of India to be on guard. However, quite a few celebs have been blessed with babies in this period. TV actors like Ruslaan Mumtaz and Smriti Khanna had kids in this lockdown phase. The latest to join the bandwagon is Kollywood filmmaker AL Vijay and his wife Aishwarya. The filmmaker's brother took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the new member in the family, a baby boy. Aishwarya delivered a son on Saturday morning in a clinic in Chennai. The birth took place at a private hospital. It seems Aishwarya and the newborn are doing well. Filmmaker AL Vijay and Aishwarya got married in a ceremony on July 11, 2019. She got pregnant soon after. He had kept news for his marriage under wraps for a long time. Before marrying Aishwarya, he said, "I am happy to announce my marriage with Dr. R Aishwarya and it is going to be a private ceremony which will be held in July 2019. With all your love and blessings, I am embarking on a new chapter in my life!" AL Vijay was earlier married to Amala Paul. They got divorced in 2017. His father said that they had trust issues. Amala had wished him whole-heartedly on his second marriage. She said, "Vijay is a very sweet man. A fantastic human. I wholeheartedly wish him a happy married life and wish the couple lots of babies." Aishwarya is a doctor. On the professional front, AL Vijay is working on the biopic of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa. Kangana Ranaut plays the title role. It will come out in two parts. The first part was supposed to come on June 26 but now it has been postponed. We congratulate the couple!
