Makers of Rajinikanth and Siruthai Siva’s Annaatthe CONFIRM Pongal 2021 release

Apart from Rajinikanth, Annaatthe also stars Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in key roles. Annaatthe went on floors in December last year.

The makers of Rajinikanth and Siruthai Siva's Annaatthe have made an announcement regarding the release of the film. Taking to their social handle the production house, Sun Pictures confirmed the Pongal 2021 as the release date of the action-drama film. Since the film's release date was announced fans have been going gaga and cannot wait for the film to release already. The makers had released the first poster of the film before the lockdown. Fans started the trend about the same. Talking about the film, D Imman has been roped in to compose the music for the action drama. Imman has previously composed music for Siruthai Siva's Ajith starrer Viswasam. Fans are going gaga over the retro-style background music that can be heard in the teaser above. Apart from Rajinikanth, Annaatthe also stars Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in key roles. Annaatthe went on floors in December last year. The major chunks of the film were shot in the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. Reports suggest that Keerthy Suresh plays Rajinikanth's daughter in Annaatthe.
