United Kingdom is set to extradite alleged bookie Sanjeev Chawla to India after he lost his final appeal in UK high court on Thursday,

Chawla, wanted in India for allegedly fixing cricket matches in 2000, had filed a plea in UK high court challenging a lower court's decision to extradite him.

The Royal Courts of Justice's two-judge bench, comprised of Lord Justice David Bean and Justice Clive Lewis, concluded that they were "satisfied that permission to appeal should be refused".
