Pacer Deepak Chahar Sidelined Till April 2020 After Aggravating Back Injury

Team India cricketer Deepak Chahar suffered an unfortunate injury during the Men In Blue's three-match ODI series against West Indies and is expected to be sidelined till 3-4 months next year, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief selector MSK Prasad confirmed on Monday (December 23).

"I have my own doubts about Deepak Chahar till March-April," Prasad told reporters.

"We have enough back-ups ready across all formats across all disciplines so Indian cricket need not worry for 6-7 years."

Team India also announced their team for the upcoming three-match T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka and Australia in January 2020.
