Modi to inaugurate key Gujarat projects on Saturday via video conference

Prime Minister Narenda Modi will inaugurate three key projects in Gujarat on Saturday via video conference.

He will launch the 'Kisan Suryodaya Yojana' for the state's farmers, inaugurate the Paediatric Heart Hospital attached with UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre and a mobile application for tele-cardiology at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, the Prime Minister's Office said on Thursday.

He will also inaugurate a ropeway at Girnar on the occasion, it added.

Under the 'Kisan Suryodaya Yojana', which envisages providing day-time power supply for irrigation, farmers will get electricity from 5 am to 9 pm.
