Mahesh Bhatt refutes harassment allegations by Luviena Lodh, to take legal action

Mahesh Bhatt’s legal team issued a statement on Friday, refuting the harassment allegations by actress Luviena Lodh. The statement also said that the veteran filmmaker will take a legal action against the actress. Earlier, Luviena Lodh, took to Instagram and posted a video in which she made some serious allegations against the veteran filmmaker.

The statement issued by Mahesh Bhatt’s legal team was shared on the official Instagram handle of Vishesh Films. The statement reads, “With reference to video released by one Luviena Lodh. We, on behalf of our client Mahesh Bhatt, refute the allegations. Such allegations are not only false and defamatory but have serious consequences in law. Our client will take such action in accordance with law as advised. Sd/- Naik Naik & Co. Legal Counsel, Vishesh Films (sic).”

In a 1-minute and 48-second long video, Luviena accused Mahesh Bhatt and his family of harassment. She begins the video by giving her introduction and says that she is making this video 'for the safety of her family'. She also says that she was married to Mahesh Bhatt’s nephew Sumit Sabharwal.
