Love Aaj Kal trailer: Imtiaz Ali returns with his magic, this time in the form of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan's love story

And here's the trailer of Love Aaj Kal. The wait is finally over for the SarTik fans. The Imtiaz Ali directorial, Love Aaj Kal is a sequel (not a direct one) to the 2009's hit film of the same name. The earlier film starred Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan in the lead role and this 2020 version stars heartthrob Kartik Aaryan and the charming Sara Ali Khan.

Coming back to the trailer of Love Aaj Kal, it begins with Sara's Zoe scolding a scared Kartik's Veer. The thing is Veer is in love with her and Zoe is more focused on her career. What follows how a growing fondness turns into something which the latter is not able to cope up with. Cut to 1990, Kartik was the boy in love, following this girl, who happens to be just like Sara's Zoe.

Kartik is shown as a shy guy while both the ladies are depicted as fierce and headstrong. Kartik and Sara's chemistry is undeniable and so is his chemistry with the girl from the 90s. In both eras, the two lovebirds have to find a way to strike a balance between finding love and staying in love while managing their individual lives.
