Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed booked for terror financing

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab, Pakistan, booked Hafiz Saeed of Jamaat-ud-Dawa and several others on Wednesday, 3 July, in cases of terrorism financing, ANI reported.

The cases have been registered in Lahore, Gujranwala and Multan for collection of funds for terrorism financing through assets made in names of Non-Profit Organisations, including Al-Anfaal Trust, Dawat ul Irshad Trust, etc.

According to PTI, Saeed and his 12 accomplices have been booked in 23 cases.
