Home Minister Rajnath Singh is chairing a crucial meeting with states sharing border with Bangladesh at the West Bengal Secretariat in Kolkata.

The meeting has been called to review Indo-Bangladesh border issues and is being attended by chief ministers of states that share international border with Bangaldesh.

While discussion on cattle smuggling and illegal infiltration from across the border are on the cards, the unfolding Rohingya refugees crisis in neighbouring Bangladesh is likely to dominate the deliberations.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, her Assam counterpart Sarbananda Sonowal and Mirzoram's Lal Thanhawla alongwith officials from Meghalaya and Tripura are attending the meeting.
