IPL 2020: Know about Sunrisers Hyderabad debutant Abdul Samad

The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir's Omar Abdullah was elated at Abdul Samad bringing much glory to his state as the young all-rounder made his IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Omar Abdulla took to Twitter to express his happines as he tweeted, "So good to see another youngster from J&K get his IPL cap. #AbdulSamad got his @SunRisers cap this evening. Here’s hoping his career goes from strength to strength.”

Abdul Samad has become the third cricketer from the valley to feature in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match. Notably, J&K cricketers Parvez Rasool (Pune Warriors, RCB and SRH) and Rasikh Salam (Mumbai Indians) are the other two players to have played at least a game in the cash-rich league.
