IIT JEE advanced 2018: What students across India said ahead of results

IIT Kanpur will on Sunday declare the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 results. The examination scores and the all-India ranks of the candidates will be available on jeeadv.nic.in.

Kota is India’s premier entrance coaching hub. Aspiring engineers who stay and study in this city are anxious ahead of the declaration of the IIT JEE Advanced test results.

“Although I have done my assessment through answer keys, I can’t help but feel anxious ahead of the declaration of results on Sunday,” said Rohit Parashar (17), an aspirant from Bihar. “I have been preparing for IIT-JEE here for the last two years. I hope to get a good rank.” Parashar said he will decide on his branch and institute after getting the results.

Another aspirant, Hemant Agarwal (17) from Madhya Pradesh, also said he was confident of bagging a good rank. “Not just me, my family is also eagerly waiting for the JEE Advanced results,” he said. Agarwal said the online mode of taking examinations has given rise to more transparency. His institute of choice is IIT-Mumbai.

Around 40,000 students from Kota qualified for the JEE Advanced this year.
