Four bodies recovered after boat capsize in Rajasthan

KOTA: At least 14 people were killed after a boat carrying over 40 devotees to a temple in Indergarh area of Rajasthan's Bundi district capsized in Chambal river on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened under Khatoli police station limits of Kota district.

Kota rural SP Sharad Choudhary told TOI that the boat was carrying over 40 devotees to a temple in Indergarh area of Bundi district capsized in Chambal river at around 8.45am on Wednesday morning.

Around 20-25 people are reported to have managed to swim to the shore, he said.
