Film producer Karim Morani tests coronavirus positive after daughters Shaza and Zoa

Film producer Karim Morani tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 8 and is being shifted to a hospital, reports suggest. Morani is a close friend of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and has produced many of his films including Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Ra. One.

Morani has two daughters, Shaza and Zoa. Both of them have also been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. While Shaza was tested positive on the evening of April 5, Zoa’s results came in on April 7. Shaza is admitted to the Nanavati Hospital and Zoa is in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Hospital, as per reports.

Shaza had returned from Rajasthan while Zoa, who is also a film actress, had returned from Sri Lanka before the nationwide lockdown was announced.
